Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions govern all contracts entered into by the company for the supply of sale of goods or services. Any order given to the company shall be deemed to constitute an Agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. No variations of these terms and conditions shall be of any effect unless agreed by the company in writing.
Description of goods
The description/specification and any elevated drawings serve as a guide only and do not form part of any contract. The company reserves the right to alter specifications without prior notice. Some timber sizes are nominal and subject to normal variations.
Prices
All prices are subject to vat at the current rate. Once your deposit is received the price will stay fixed.
a. The price and delivery charge for the Product shall be in accordance with the price list issued by the Company from time to time and shall be set out in the order confirmation. The price and delivery charge shall be exclusive of any value added tax or any other applicable tax that the Customer shall pay in addition.
b. Subject to other provisions in these Terms and Conditions a deposit of 25% of the full purchase price is payable on ordering the Product from the Company. The balance of the price is payable before the keys to the Product are handed over to the Customer on the due date.
c. The Customer shall make the full payment due without any deduction whether by way of set-off, counterclaim or otherwise and no payment shall be deemed to have been received until the Company has received cleared funds.
d. The Company reserves the right to alter the price list at any time.
Payments
To secure your pod, a 25% deposit is required, followed by a 25% progress payment one week prior to your installation. The final balance then is payable on the last day of installation. All goods remain the property of the company until paid for in full. Any balance of payment is due strictly on the final day of installation; the finished building should be inspected and signed off prior to payment. Outstanding balances may be paid by bank transfer (copy of transaction required), debit or credit cards unless other arrangements are made. If paying by cheque it must be handed to the install team on day of completion.
Order Cancellation
The Purchaser shall, within seven days of payment of a deposit, be entitled, by written notice to the Company, to cancel the purchase in which event the Purchaser shall be entitled to a refund of monies paid less any administration or other costs. Cancellation within 14 days of installation will incur a penalty of 20% of the deposit paid. The company reserves the right to dismantle and remove any buildings not paid for in full. The customer must allow full access to the site for this purpose and will be notified in writing of this intent. Interest will be charged at a rate of 5% per month on overdue payments.
Delivery
The company will always try to honour the agreed delivery/install date, 99% of our buildings are delivered and installed on time. However we cannot guarantee the install date and cannot be held responsible for postponement or delay outside of our control (for example extreme weather conditions) and cannot be liable for compensation. Access to electricity is required on site. The company will not deliver buildings or machinery through domestic buildings or over fences without prior consultation (and only if agreed during site survey).
Bases & Installations
All sites/bases must be level with correct drainage in place, an area of no less than 300mm is required in addition to the external dimensions of the building to allow construction. Access to electricity is required on site.
Guarantee
O-Pod Buildings Ltd are covered by a comprehensive guarantee against design and manufacturing faults, material failure, corrosion and rot for a period of 10 years from the date of installation provided that the company installed the building. Hardwood doors and windows, floor coverings, electrical installations, electric appliances, heaters, accessories, telecoms, network and TV connections are covered by a one year guarantee.
Remedial Work
If remedial work is required, contact should be made through the main office, full details of any issues should be given. If required arrangements will be made for a maintenance team to rectify any issues free of any charge.
Refunds & Exchanges
All products sold by O-Pod Buildings Ltd. come with a full manufacturers warranty. O-Pod Buildings shall return a deposit placed minus a 5% (of the deposit amount) administration fee in the instance that Planning Permission (if applied for) has not been granted and our client must cancel their order. (It is usually wise to check with your local planning office prior to placing a deposit in the unlikely event that you may encounter planning problems ie: if you are in a conservation area or area of outstanding natural beauty)
Order Cancellation

Should the customer cancel their order in less than 7 days prior to the installation, the deposit is not eligible for return unless special circumstances are granted (at O-Pod Buildings Ltd. discretion). The company reserves the right to dismantle and remove any buildings not paid for in full. The customer must allow full access to the site for this purpose and will be notified in writing of this intent. Interest will be charged at a rate of 5% per month on overdue payments.
